hi, i’m mads
I’m your human Swiss army knife.
A thought partner, a connector, a doer—and your biggest advocate. I’m here to bring your vision to life in a way that feels thoroughly, unmistakably you.
My background spans institutional, cultural, and brand-driven work—from White House correspondence with First Lady Michelle Obama to museum and brand activations and content strategy for TBWA’s Backslash and IDEO EU. I’ve lived in Belfast and London, and worked with teams and brands across Europe, Asia, and Latin America—bringing global perspective to deeply local work.
I also founded and run The Mad Collective, a nonprofit based in Los Angeles that uses food to build community and respond to urgent need. From emergency response to neighborhood meal programs, I’ve led fundraising efforts, pop-ups, and mutual aid events—building real-time partnerships with restaurants, chefs, and community groups along the way.
At the core: systems-minded storytelling, thoughtful execution, and a deep belief in people. I think big and follow through—with heart, humor, and action.
Native Angeleno, creative cliché. When I’m not planning an event or writing a quip, you’ll find me eating Quarter Sheets’ Princess cake, manifesting unrequited love, or plotting the next Mad Collective activation.
